1951 5 | Mas Oyama invited by request of United States Army stationed in Japan to teach Karate to occupation soldiers. |
7 | Taught session in Judo at Sone exercise hall (Asagaya, Tokyo). |
1952 3 | Performed demonstrations of and lessons in Karate at 32 places around the USA over an 11 months period by invitation of Karate Association of Chicago. |
1953 4 | Returned to Chicago, USA; fought for the first time internationally with a bull. |
1954 4 | Returned to Japan; The filming of Oyama's "Karate Fighting With a Bull", was decided, and so the special training was done at Boso for 3 months. |
5 | The sign "Oyama Exercise Hall" was formally put up in the yard of Oyama's residence at Meguro, Tokyo. |
1955 2 | Oyama visited the Americas again. Touring South America and then Europe he demonstrated various techniques and utilized his unique fighting style. The Whisky bottle cutting begun receiving notoriety; demonstration was dubbed, "God Hand". |

them for the World Tournament to be held in two years time. |

1974 5 | Performed a Karate Demonstration for Prince and Princess Shahalam of Iran
at Hotel Okura in Tokyo. On this occasion, honorary 2nd Dan (black belt grades) were awarded the couple. |
